Good food but slow service

The tea was spoiled and there was one person working. I called several times and never got an answer. I ordered my food when I got there which was just one cheeseburger plate and she told me it would be 20 mins. Why?! She wasn't busy. Nobody was in the restaurant.

Nothing special, but I'll hand it to them for crunchy krinkle fries. Burger was OK. Not a fan of the smashed bun. Also a good ol' country hang out.

They have an A on the door, but they shouldn't. One lady was cooking had on shorts so short you can see her butt cheeks. And they don't wear gloves or wash there hands.. the one with the shorts on the only time I seen her wash her hands was when she was cleaning out her long finger nails. It was disgusting. I want to back and eat there anymore.

Ordered out today ,double cheeseburger an bake potato, an grilled chicken salad bake potato, it was so good been eating their since they open!!

First time here. Very friendly staff, decent burgers and fries. Nothing fancy. Menu is on a blackboard, I had to ask what some of the abbreviations meant. (C)hili, (D)ouble, (B)acon, (J)alapeno, (M)ushroom, (P)imento.

This place takes a LONG TIME to make your food! If you decide to eat here, please be prepared to wait a lot longer for your order to be finished. I placed my order at 2:00, the lady said it’s going to take 20 mins. 20 mins went by, I pulled up to the place & the food was just now put on the grill! The lady told me it was going to be a few more minutes, waited a few more minutes & it’s still not ready. I’m extremely disappointed cause I’m starving. When I’m starving, I am not in a good mood. But the food is good though. I won’t be eating here anymore, will continue eating at Dericks Cafe from here on out. Do better cheeseburger house.

Good food, friendly staff, affordable! Hand patties by Johnny are a thing of beauty. Takes you back 40 years to another time. Girl behind the counter went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will be back when we are in town.

Excellent large hand made patties cooked to order. My son and I enjoyed this place immensely! For reviewers stating long wait times, yes it took a bit. They made everything FRESH! Go to McDonald's if you want fast food sacrificing quality. For those saying there is no restroom, untrue, I used it myself. For others saying the people pander to local guests and ignore out of towners, also untrue. Everyone there was very polite. When hearing we came from Greenville to try his place out, Johnny personally cooked our meal. Waitress and Johnny followed up to see how things were. Johnny even took the time to take a picture with my son. I would say be friendly and I am sure you get treated friendly in return. Yes, it is an old restaurant, one with an outstanding reputation for a reason. We totally enjoyed our visit. Thank you Johnny and staff!

One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. The patties were hand pattied and juicy. Tomatoes looked to be local an vine ripened. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of air conditioning. The air conditioners couldn't handle 90 plus temperatures at 3pm. The young lady that served me was wringing wet but very polite and friendly. Sat there and trying to eat a delicious cheeseburger and sweat is rolling off your forehead is no fun.

The burgers here are great! A little greasy but worth it for the taste. Have also gotten slawdogs here before that were just ok. Definitely go with the burgers. Might wanna call it in if you're in a hurry.

While on a out of town trip. I was introduced to the cheeseburger house. The wait was long but it was well worth it. The juiciest burger and fresh fries made for a late lunch.

I got the Fish & Shrimp which came with over a dozen shrimp, crinkle fries, and a mound of coleslaw. I as well got a Hamburger to go and as I know from my first visit that it has been cooked to order and will be delicious.

This place has the best cheese burger any where. Best price, freshly made. Plan out awesome.

Good stuff

Salty double cheeseburger. Waitress had her thumbs on top of my lunch companion s and my cheeseburger. That made it unappealing. No restroom or wash room in working condition couldn't wash my hands. But, everyone was very friendly.

This restaurant is in an old run-down building. The furniture also is old and well used. We have eaten here for a couple of years on a regular basis because my husband likes their hamburgers and I like the fish! In spite of its age, it seems to be kept clean.

Best burger in this area, and great service. I'll be back!!
